COME IN: Let us show you around our place. The first thing you'll notice is that even though we're out here in the sticks, literally, we run a finely tuned operation. You can see by the way our machines shine that we take pride in the quality of our equipment and keep everything tuned and running smoothly. We're always investing in new equipment to keep up with the latest technological advancements.
A LITTLE HISTORY: Back when we first started in the thirties this land was a dairy farm. Earl Wells moved here when health problems prevented him continuing his career in the San Francisco Bay area as owner of a dental technician's laboratory. The dairy farm just didn't make enough money through the depression, so Earl put to use some of the lab equipment he had brought north with him. Next thing you know he's spending more time inventing and manufacturing dental lab equipment than with the dairy. He was back in business, but this time his son Richard was old enough to become his partner. Earl kept on inventing things: an automatic burr chuck, an automatic high speed spindle, an automatic chuck for a dental lathe and by the late 60's when Richard took over the business, they developed a complete engine unit. By that time they were up to 3 employees. As time went on and the company grew, more and more members of the family became involved. Earl's wife Alma became the business manager, Richard's daughters, Esther and Rhonda ran the office, and son Marvin worked in the factory. |
